TRAINEE vet Laura Muir finally showed her pedigree on Sunday night – winning 3,000m gold to become only the second woman in history to win the distance double at the European Indoors.Muir, who had clinched the 1500m title just 21 hours earlier, produced a Mo Farah style sprint on the final lap to out-class Kenyan-born Yasemin Can who switched nationality to compete for Turkey last year.She clocked 8.35.67 to win gold in a championship record and equal the double achieved by Poland’s Lidia Chojecka in 2007.
