Keynesian bouquet for ‘Starboy’ @64

Kindly Share This Story: By Louis Odion, FNGE Sobriety – if not austere aloofness – would ordinarily appear the chief trait that defines a varsity professor. This probably explains why far less public attention is paid to his other proficiency: master of spontaneous humor. Answering a question during a campaign town-hall meeting in Benin City in 2015 ahead of the March 28 presidential elections, petite vice presidential candidate Yemi Osinbajo literally brought down the roof by describing himself and gangling General Muhammadu Buhari as “the long and short of the matter”. Such witty facility was again very much on display years later during a gala night hosted in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Government in honour of visiting Vice President. During the event, which has since been entered as part of Nigeria’s social media’s folklore, popular comedian, Klint Da Drunk, had sought to blackmail the guest after handing him N5,000 by quoting the Bible … [Read more...] about Keynesian bouquet for ‘Starboy’ @64

How to Tell if Your Mac is 64-bit

Are you wondering if your Mac is 64-bit architecture or 32-bit architecture? Well you might not be alone. The good news is it’s pretty easy to determine what CPU architecture your Mac is using. You can either focus on the model year of the Mac, or the CPU architecture and processor chip itself. The most precise measure will be focusing on the CPU. If you’re unsure whether or not your Mac is 64 bit or not, the easiest way to check is to find out what kind of processor your Mac has in it, and the easiest way to do that is to do the following: How to Determine if Mac is 64-bit or 32-bit Pull down the Apple menu  and click ‘About this Mac’ Now look at what is listed next to “Processor” and use the following as a guide: Intel Core Solo – 32 bit Intel Core Duo – 32 bit Intel Core 2 Duo – 64 bit Intel Quad-Core Xeon – 64 bit Intel Core i5 – 64 bit Intel Core i7 – 64 bit Basically anything newer than the “Intel Core Duo” and “Intel Core Solo” … [Read more...] about How to Tell if Your Mac is 64-bit

N64 Emulator for Mac – SixtyForce Emulates Nintendo 64 with Gamepad Support

The Nintendo 64 was another great console that had many great games, and you can relive many of the gaming experiences of the N64 by getting an emulator for Mac OS X. The N64 Emulator I use in Mac OS X is called SixtyForce, it opens and plays N64 ROM’s quite well and allows you to run the games at full screen or in windowed mode, customize your controls to use either a keyboard or USB gamepad, and more. Sound good, and you’re a fan of Nintendo 64? Then check it out yourself. You can download SixtyForce for free at sixtyforce.com but you’ll have to get game ROM files elsewhere. SixtyForce isn’t as full featured as some of the other emulators out there in the Windows world, but as far as I know it’s the best option for emulating the Nintendo 64 console natively in Mac OS X. SixtyForce works best with an external controller, though keyboard support is included it’s just not as a good of an experience for gaming, but you probably already guessed that. Using a USB or … [Read more...] about N64 Emulator for Mac – SixtyForce Emulates Nintendo 64 with Gamepad Support

How to Change MAMP to Default Apache and MySQL ports

MAMP is a great app for Mac OS X that lets you quickly and easily run an entire pre-configured web server on top of Mac OS X, it’s really helpful and I use it frequently for web development and testing web projects. Perhaps the only issue with MAMP is the port settings, which by default they are set to 8888 and 8889, so instead of being able to visit localhost you have to load localhost:8888. Thankfully this is easy to change, and you can quickly configure MAMP to use the default ports for Apache and MySQL , allowing you to interact with localhost without specifying an additional port number. This settings adjustment in MAMP is simple: Open up MAMP and hit the Preferences button Click on the Ports tab Click on “Set to default Apache and MySQL ports Click OK MAMP will restart itself with the new default ports configured. This is the first thing I do when I setup MAMP on a Mac and I find it makes working with the app much more natural. And yes, I realize … [Read more...] about How to Change MAMP to Default Apache and MySQL ports
