close Video Concha: The New York Times is 'lionizing cancel culture' Fox News contributor Joe Concha reacts to The New York Times being accused of celebrating cancel culture for spotlighting a video of a teenaged girl using a racial slur, in which, led to her being forced to withdraw from college. Even George Orwell couldn’t have imagined it: in the country where free speech first became a constitutional right, left-wing journalists and frightened media companies are desperately censoring people with views they consider unpleasant. So far this month, New York Times columnists have called for a federal "reality czar" and asked cable companies to keep viewers from seeing Fox News as easily as CNN or MSNBC. A Times reporter was forced to resign for using a racial slur – though both he and the paper’s top editor, who is African American, said he had used it without malign intent. Ion Hazzikostas was fairly certain that Blizzard had broken World of Warcraft . He and his guildmates were deep in the ancient sanctum of Ahn'Qiraj, face to face with the delirious cosmic gaze of the eldritch god C'Thun. The dusty tomes of the Warcraft legendarium imply that C'Thun is one of the most powerful beings in the universe; he commands an army of obsidian golems and routinely devours raid members whole with one of his many toothy maws. Still, the amount of damage he was soaking up seemed a bit overtuned. Hazzikostas spent endless evenings getting blown to bits by this grim divinity, and his guild had little progress to show for it. C'Thun still stood, sweatless and indomitable, as the armor repair fees mounted in his wallet. Eventually, Hazzikostas had had enough and sent his complaint up the chain at Blizzard Entertainment to World of Warcraft lead designer Jeff Kaplan. "He graciously responded, and over the following months and years I would regularly send in bug … [Read more...] about How Blizzard Transforms Its Fans Into Employees

Behind Her Eyes is currently at the top of Netflix 's charts around the world—usually a sure sign that a show is getting a Season 2 (with the noted exception of Hillary Swank space drama Away , canceled after one season .) And seeing as the British show ends with the villain seemingly getting away with their multiple crimes, many viewers were looking forward to more episodes that would see David (played by Tom Bateman) find out exactly what is going on. Those viewers, however, are set to be disappointed. The show has been billed as limited series on Netflix, which means that the six episodes that have been released so far are all the episodes subscribers are getting. The main reason for this is due to Behind Her Eyes being based on a book, by author Sarah Pinborough. In its six episodes, the Netflix series has burned through all the plot of this novel, including its shocking and controversial body-switch ending . In fact, that ending is even darker in the book, which … [Read more...] about ‘Behind Her Eyes’: Why There Won’t Be a Season 2 of the Netflix Show
