EXCLUSIVE : Unbelievable director Lisa Cholodenko is to helm the first two episodes of Elle Fanning ’s Hulu drama The Girl from Plainville . The series, which is centered around the Michelle Carter texting-suicide case, will start production later this year. Cholodenko directed the first three episodes of Toni Collette and Merritt Weaver’s limited Netflix drama series Unbelievable and previously directed the HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge, which won her an Outstanding Directing Emmy. Her feature film, The Kids Are All Right , won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy and was nominated for four Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. The Girl from Plainville was handed a straight-to-series order last August and comes from The Post writer Liz Hannah and Dr. Death exec producer Patrick Macmanus. Actress Vidya turned a year older recently. Actor Vinu Mohan (Vidya’s hubby) and team Abhiyum Naanum made some special arrangements to celebrate her birthday. Vidya shared glimpses of her birthday celebrations on her Instagram handle. Vinu also visited the sets of the show Abhiyum Naanum. Vidya was surprised with a birthday cake. Actors Latha Saba, Rajkamal, Akila, Aravind Akash and the crew of the show joined her in the cosy celebration party. Everyone had a blast during the celebration. Vinu had yet another surprise in store for Vidya. Mollywood top star Mohanlal and few other celebs wished the birthday girl. It was all arranged by Vinu. THE Bachelor alum Colton Underwood revealed he is gay to Robin Roberts on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning America. The former NFL star , 29, had teased "deeply personal" news on Tuesday , leading many fans to believe he was ready to confirm long-time rumors. In an emotional interview, Colton came out, explaining that the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown forced him to come to terms with his sexuality. He nervously told Robin: "I ran from myself for a long time and hated myself for a long time and I'm gay. "I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it "I'm still nervous.
