The movie stars Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior who has to track down the last surviving dragon in her world in a bid to stop an evil ancient enemy from destroying everything she loves. Featuring a cast including Awkwafina, Daniel Dae Kim, and Alan Tudyk, the movie should be a fantastic hit for all the family. Grade 9 students at Oakwood Collegiate weren’t the only ones entering new territory when they stepped through the doors for their first day of high school on Tuesday. The school itself is forging new ground as the first in the Toronto District School Board to eliminate all applied-level courses for its youngest pupils. This year for the first time, its 95 Grade 9 students are no longer separated into university-bound academic level classes versus the more hands-on applied option. Instead, the two streams have been integrated into one, ensuring students keep their options open for post-secondary school and in turn, their career paths. The move, which affects English, math, science, geography and French, has implications for many Grade 9 students. Last year, about 40 per cent of them were enrolled in at least one applied-level course. Black children in the GTA may start kindergarten feeling confident and excited to learn, but too many are “gradually worn down” by schools that stream them into applied courses and suspend them at much higher rates than other students, says a new report from York University. The report found that while academic streaming was supposed to have ended in 1999, black students are twice as likely to be enrolled in applied instead of academic courses compared to their counterparts from other racial backgrounds. All American Season 3 is finally airing, 10 months after the last set of episodes aired on The CW . Episodes of the new season are set to air weekly on Mondays over the next few months. Viewers who want to binge the whole of Season 3 in one go, however, will have to wait until it comes to Netflix . Netflix has a deal with The CW whereby all of its show which started airing before 2019 come to the streamer in full, eight days after their final episodes air on TV. As All American is one of those shows, viewers will be able to stream it in full at some point in 2021. So far, The CW has not announced when exactly All American Season 3 will end, so we cannot be sure when exactly it will start streaming. If previous seasons are anything to go by, then the show should come to Netflix at the end of March 2021.
