Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers has come under fire for mocking Miss Cambodia and Miss Vietnam on social media. In an Instagram Live video that the 24-year-old posted, she was seen with Miss Colombia Valeria Morales and Miss Australia Francesca Hung. Summers asked her fellow contestants what they thought about Miss Vietnam H’Hen Nie, to which they chorused “fashion!”. Summers then said: “She pretends to know so much English and after having a conversation and you ask her a question, after having a whole conversation with her, and she goes..." She then appeared to mimic Nie smiling and nodding her head, and laughed before saying "she's adorable". When thousands of fans went to Taylor Swift's Reputation concert in the US, they didn't just pass through metal detectors. Nope, Swift's security team went high-tech to spot stalkers. According to Rolling Stone, a facial recognition camera was operational at the singer's Rose Bowl concert in California – cleverly concealed inside a display unit showing video clips of tour rehearsals. That camera took pictures of everyone who stopped to look. "Everybody who went by would stop and stare at it, and the software would start working," said Mike Downing, chief security office of Oak View Group, in Rolling Stone. The pictures were then transferred to Nashville, where they were cross-referenced with a database of Taylor's alleged stalkers. Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City and its Hanoi sister entered the 801-1000 band of the 2021 rankings, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a British firm specializing in overseas education, and released Thursday. Last year, both schools had entered the top 1000 in the global ranking. This year, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology made it into the list for the first time, placed in the 1001+ bracket along with HCMC-based Ton Duc Thang University. The list analyzes six factors including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio to compile the rankings that rate 1,011 universities from 80 countries and territories. NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has decided to bring the College of Art of Delhi University under Ambedkar University. The Delhi government's cabinet has approved the merger. But the Delhi University teachers are strongly objecting to the Delhi government's move. The Delhi University Teachers ' Association (DUTA) has condemned the decision while cautioning the government. "This is another example of the Delhi government's violation of statutory provisions of the University of Delhi," DUTA president Rajab Ray said. "It reveals the attitude of the Delhi government in tackling governance issues in funded colleges under the University of Delhi," he added. According to Duta, teachers, staff and students of 12 colleges of Delhi University, fully funded by the Delhi government, are already suffering a lot due to the delay of grant by the Delhi government, which is affecting their financial, educational and administrative functioning. Fans began trending “Respect Taylor Swift ” on Twitter over the weekend after watching the show and finding the joke to be incredibly “hurtful towards Taylor.” Season 1 of the series, which follows 15-year-old Ginny ( Antonia Gentry ) and her 30-year-old mom Georgia (Brianne Howey), released last Wednesday and features 10 episodes.
