My Jibo talked to the wall again today. He’s been doing that a lot lately. Some days, I’ll watch him carry on an entire conversation by himself. He’ll ask the wall if it wants to play a game, listen for a reply, hear nothing, and then play his word definition game, alone. Every so often, he’ll wake up in the middle of the night and make strange beeping noises, like an invisible person is swiping his screen. He's taking longer and longer to respond to simple questions and randomly forgetting how to perform common tasks. Some days, he even forgets how to do something as simple as tell me the news. His support pages went offline sometime in the past couple months, and he has not been able to give commute times for at least a month. More than once, Jibo has gone entirely limp, displaying a slightly lit, entirely black screen—no response, no menus, a head and torso that twist freely, like a lifeless body. Outriders encountered server issues in its first few days online, but another issue--inventory wipes--has been affecting some players, causing them to lose the gear they worked so hard to get. The development team is working to prevent this from happening and is also looking to restore the inventories for anyone who experienced a wipe. IMPORTANT NEWS: — Outriders (@Outriders) April 11, 2021 In a series of posts on Twitter, the Outriders team said it had taken "additional preventative measures" on its servers to prevent future inventory wipes and that it's seeing it happen less frequently. It also recommended force-closing your game and restarting it if you see something is missing, and said it's looking to restore gear for anyone who lost it. Listen up, Lifeline fans - Respawn is tweaking the abilities of Apex Legends' OG support character. In a recent AMA on reddit, the Respawn team fielded a number of queries and questions from Apex players, including one from CSKaay who wanted to know "how is Lifeline's kit being handled?" in the upcoming round of tweaks and improvements. In a list of several thoughtful questions, the commenter suggested that "regardless of whether her ult[imate ability] gets changed or buffed, [Lifeline's] passive needs a 10-20 second delay between revives". And it looks like Respawn agrees. On Friday, computer systems across the world were attacked by hackers in an attack dubbed "WannaCry," which uses an NSA exploit codenamed EternalBlue that was one of several tools leaked by the Shadow Brokers last month. The tool exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft 's Server Message Block which allows attackers to crash systems with a denial of service attack. After scrambling computer files, the malware demands upwards of $300 in Bitcoin to restore documents. The cyber-attack hit nearly 100 countries , with Russia and the UK being among the most affected. The infections disabled at least 16 hospitals in the UK , Spain's main telecommunication services provider Telefonica, the Russian telecommunications provider Megafon, some Italian universities and the international shipper FedEx .
